A former flight attendant, for nearly 20 years, native Floridian Sue-Ellen will advise you: "Write about what you love". And she has. A passionate medievalist of Scottish descent, she makes annual research trips to Great Britain, and on the return home she leaves part of her heart behind.

Sue-Ellen lives in Florida with her real-life knight, Manfred. "Without my husband's tremendous support," she says, "I would not have sold."

Many writers have a special love for a pet, and for Sue-Ellen it is for her little Jack Russell Terrier, Em.

She is an active member of Romance Writers of America, SWFRW, and her own clan society, Clan MacFie Society of North America.
